Pretty in Pink

This is the last granny square blanket like this that I will do for a while now. I'm moving on to something else after this one.

This was done for a friend of mine who is going through some tough times. She'd wanted one of my blankets, so I made her one as a gift. She likes pink, so I did it in various colors of pinks. Even though the darker color is called "Claret" and is not actually considered pink.

Unlike my first blanket done in exactly the same way, this one is larger. I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn instead of Caron Simply Soft, and the difference in size was considerable. This blanket measures about 66x66 inches.

I'm disappointed with the picture. Since we're still in the process of unpacking from our move recently, there's nowhere I can get a picture of this without some kind of box or something getting in the way.

Modeled on my mom's bed, because my room is cluttered with moving stuff... still.
